Digital Fabrication

  • Often reffered to as the "Apple of lasers" Glowforge makes great laser cutters/engravers for beginners and hobbyists. Although they aren't our top choice for advanced fabricators looking to make high quantities or a really wide range of projects, they have a clean and easy to use user interface that includes (with a membership) a huge library of assets and a catalogue of ready to print projects.

If you want to try one, we currently have a Glowforge Aura in the makerspace.

Using this link gives you a discount on your purchase and helps support the makerspace.

  • Prusa is well known in the 3D printing community for being a reliable, high quality, machine. From the Mini to the XL they come in a variety of sizes to cover all of your printing needs. We use a Prusa Mini+ and a Prusa Mk3S+ to print a lot of the kits we have at the makerspace.

We recommend Prusa printers to makers who have some 3D printing experience and don't mind having to do a little bit of tinkering (including assembling it).
